National Charity Drive

The National Charity Drive (NCD) is an initiative that started in 2007, and encourages medical students to be involved in community based activities across Australia.

The vision is for students to highlight areas or groups in our community (locally or federally) that they believe require assistance. Therefore, the emphasis in not purely on monetary donation, but the spirit of community involvement.

The AMSA Community Cup will be awarded to the medical society deemed by AMSA Council to have conducted the most innovative and successful charity event in the previous 12 months. This is voted upon at Second Council.
