Specialty Interest Networks

The past few years have been marked by an explosion in the number and activity of specialty interest groups (SIGs) at the University level. These groups primarily serve to promote medical student education in their respective specialties; some prime examples include global health and surgery.

AMSA seeks to engage with SIGs and to facilitate national collaboration between them. Specialty Interest Networks (SINs) represent the key mechanism through which the Association seeks to achieve this goal.
