At the recent AMSA October council, a number of policies were passed into AMSA Official Documents. Three of these policies specifically affect international students. AMSA believes that it is unfair that international students do not have guaranteed access to internships across Australia. This policy outlines this belief while also directing AMSA advocacy regarding Student concessions and the work restrictions placed on the families of international students. Never before in AMSA's history have international medical students been given such a poor deal.
