Membership services are an important part of AMSA's operation.

Through the Association's 'subscribe to AMSA' initiative, medical students are able to access a member benefits program that includes discounts at relevant retailers and service providers. They also have access to a gold AMSA American Express credit card program. Importantly, AMSA members can apply for a range of scholarships and bursaries that reward achievements in research, rural health and international clinical work. The Association also facilitates competitions that all medical students are able to enter. AMSA's Alumni program provides a network for past members to communicate and exchange knowledge.
