PUBLICATIONS

With a large network of medical societies, AMSA relies on professional publications to reach its members. Panacea is AMSA's biannual publication. With feature articles, reports and academic reviews, the magazine is a dynamic product. In addition, the monthly e-newsletter Embolus provides news and updates direct to medical student inboxes. As a service to final year students, the Intern and Resident's Guide (IRG) details all the prevocational positions available in each of Australia's teaching hospitals. Hospitals and primary care practices feature in the guide. For the first time in 2007, AMSA also released its Medical School Guide. It offers detailed information on all undergraduate and graduate entry medical courses in Australia. The Medical School Guide was developed with assistance from Medical Deans Australia New Zealand and the Australian Medical Association. Each year, the organisation publishes the AMSA Exposed - a guide to the Association for first year students.
This page displays AMSA's most recent publications. A complete list of publications is available in the AMSA Publications Library.
