The National Leadership Development Seminar (NLDS), held each year in Canberra, has long been regarded as AMSA’s most prestigious event. 2018's seminar brings together 100 delegates to attend 4 days of inspirational plenaries, workshops and networking sessions by world class leaders. In previous years, NLDS has featured presentations from the Chair of the World Medical Association, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, the Minister and Shadow Minister for Health, President of the AMA, Commissioner of the AFP, the Governor-General of Australia and countless other exceptional leaders from a wide range of fields. Next year’s team is already working hard to ensure that we continue to feature stellar lineups to inspire and upskill our delegates.
NLDS provides a unique and intimate forum to discuss issues integral to health, education, politics and leadership and is designed to shape the medical leaders of tomorrow, both in a professional and personal context. In 2018, NLDS will be held at the end of May, with applications open in February.
