Welcome to the 2024 Edition of the Australian Medical Students’ Association Journal of Global Health – ‘Spotlight’.

In the ever changing field of global health, minority groups and countries outside the Western world are often vulnerable to having their stories left untold. ‘Spotlight’ aims to illuminate these unheard issues, even drawing upon the recounts of doctors who are at the forefront of reducing health inequities.

‘Spotlight’ illuminates these issues through the voices of Australian medical students passionate about global health – inspiring global citizens of the 21st century.
