Boots to Scrubs
Originally formed under AMSA, Boots to Scrubs has recently moved to their own website. Please find an overview of their work and their new contact details below:
Boots to Scrubs is a nationwide campaign dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and supporting rural women to pursue careers as rural doctors. By fostering medical careers among individuals from rural backgrounds, we aim to bridge the gap in rural healthcare and address the urgent need for more doctors in rural communities.
We are excited to announce our partnership with AMSA, further strengthening our ability to support aspiring rural doctors. Through scholarships, mentorship, educational resources, and live events, we provide the tools and guidance needed to navigate the journey to medical school. From school seminars and information nights to UCAT and interview training, we ensure rural women have the confidence and resources to succeed.
With the launch of our new website – bootstoscrubs.com – you can now stay up to date with all our latest initiatives, events, and opportunities. Our scholarship program is currently open, with applications closing March 31st.
